Method of calculation the recyclable plastics’ market size

Keywords: secondary plastics, secondary resources, waste, market capacity, solid waste, municipal waste, industrial waste, business.

Purpose: to develop a calculation methodology for assessing the capacity of the secondary plastics market. Discussion: plastics are the most demanded group of secondary material resources allocated from waste. Recycled plastics are used in a variety of products, such as packaging, building materials and compositions, and plastic films and coatings. Therefore, it is important to know the volume of their annual education. However, at present in the Russian Federation the very concept of secondary resources is not legally enshrined, statistical records are not kept, and there is no reliable information on the volumes of processing and movement of secondary plastics. The method of determination consists of four stages, including the assessment of the resource base of secondary plastic resources from the groups “solid municipal waste” and “industrial waste”, the assessment of exports and imports for the formed groups of secondary resources, and a direct assessment of the estimated capacity of the market. Results: the main contribution to the secondary polymer market is made by secondary resources of polyethylene (50%), polyethylene terephthalate and polypropylene (46%). The results obtained are close to the available expert estimates and are comparable with the estimates of the capacity of the plastic waste market given in a number of sources. In the calculations, publicly available data are used, which makes it possible to widely use the proposed methodological approach without spending significant material and time resources.

Problems of development of regional airports in island and peninsular territories

Keywords: regional airports, regional air traffic, regional air transportation, air transportation market, Republic of Crimea, domestic tourism, regional economy, crisis management, risk management, statistical analysis.

Purpose: to analyze the problems of managing regional airports in the island and peninsular territories. Discussion: the experience of France and Italy proves the possibility of affective development of airports (on the example of the islands of Corsica and Sardinia) through the development of low-cost airlines. With the development of European low-cost airlines Ryanair, easyJet and Volotea, the Italian airport of Cagliari takes a leading role in the structure of the airports of the island of Sardinia. A regional airline “Air Corsica” operates on the territory of the French island of Corsica, which allows France to avoid dependence on foreign air carriers. The presented concepts have their advantages and disadvantages. It is important to note that the European experience can be applied in developing a strategy for the development of regional airports in the Russian Federation using the example of the airports of Simferopol, Kaliningrad, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. After the entry of the Republic of Crimea into the Russian Federation, the problem of the development of the regional transport infrastructure acquired particular urgency. Results: in view of the sanctions pressure from a number of foreign countries, as well as actions from Ukraine aimed at destabilizing the socio-economic life of the region (transport blockade, energy blockade and other illegal actions), the issue of the development of the air transport infrastructure of the Republic of Crimea is one of the key issues in the internal politics. The annual increase in the tourist flow of the Republic of Crimea proves the demand and prospects for the development of domestic tourism. With the development of European low-cost airlines Ryanair, easyJet and Volotea, the Italian airport of Cagliari takes a leading role in the structure of the airports of the island of Sardinia. The development of air traffic between the regions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Crimea can serve as the basis for the development of the regional air transportation segment in the structure of the Russian air passenger market.

What hinders the appearance of a compromise model interactions of electricity and economy?

Keywords: reform, model, market, electric power industry, networks, tariff, price, economy, interaction, efficiency, reliability.

Purpose: to determine the role of the fuel and energy industry in the country’s economy, and to identify the tasks of its transformation. Discussion: the privatization processes could not bypass such an attractive industry for private interest as the electric power industry. This interest was based not on the ideas of developing the energy business, but on the opportunity to take possession of an asset that reliably generates personal income. Hence there were numerous attempts to “scientifically justify” in some publications the privatization and fragmentation of a specifically built and functioning system. In essence, they do not analyze the feasibility of privatization and denationalization of RAO UES, there is no comparative assessment of the effectiveness of the model of organizing the electric power industry based on private property and competition, instead of system integrity due to the type of industry, the specifics of production and consumption of electricity. and natural monopoly of functioning. Results: The article discusses some of the arguments for the benefits of market-based approaches to power management in a number of publications. And also on the example of the Altai Territory, the processes of chaotic privatization and equally chaotic corporatization are shown, where not the methodological principle of consistency of actions dominated, but the speculative interest of a group of “reformers” with the goal of seizing energy assets. The natural result of these reorganizations was a manifold increase in the cost of electricity for all groups of consumers.

The model of information and technical support of innovation processes and the development of a competitive environment proposed by the authors will increase the efficiency of the activities of economic entities in various industries and spheres. Results: the main directions of state and territorial administration in the context of the development of innovative technologies in a competitive market environment depend on many factors (infrastructure, institutional composition, etc.) and measures applied by the executive and legislative authorities. The authors note that, despite the state and regional measures taken to save energy and develop alternative energy sources, they have not acquired a mass character in terms of territoriality. Moreover, the Krasnodar Territory in the fuel and energy sector is a recipient region, which is reflected in the cost of fuel and energy resources for consumers and producers, as a result, the financial results of industries and spheres of the territory decrease.
